You move your frog forward and backward and turn left and
right with the cursor keys in this 2D-game. The frog
must stay on the trees swimming in the water and
avoid jumping in the water. The gamefield mustn't be
left, too. The game can't be won, but the number of
seconds, the frog stays on the trees, is calculated.
The game is made for one and two players. The first
player uses the cursor keys and the second player
the keys s, y, x and c. You can use ESC to return
to the panel, where you can select, if you want to play
alone or with two players.
There was already a one-player-version of FrogRound
written for JAVA-mobiles. It was released by Astro
Solutions on 4.12.2010.
The version in the main folder is compatible to
JAVA 1.1.8, MSJVM (JView) and JAVA 1.8. It uses a
deprecated JAVA API. You can find applet-versions
(for JAVA-browsers and the AppletViewer from the free
Oracle JDK) and Swing-versions, which don't use a
deprecated JAVA API, in the subfolders.
