You need a JAVA Browser to use this applet!
The Linux Mint 9 Live-DVD isn't compatible to JAVA 1.8.
If you can't make the applet run and really want to play, you can use the AppletViewer from the Oracle JDK and start it with the .htm file as argument. The applet should be stored at an offline location, if you use the AppletViewer.
An application version for command-line launch also exists and is more compatible.

One to ten players get 60 seconds to view the positions of ten cities on the screen. Then they have to guess the names of the cities hidden afterwords. If you enter a different random seed at the beginning, other random city positions are calculated. The rest of the program is controlled with mouseclicks, but you can always quit with ESC.

This game is thread-safe. The applet is compatible to JAVA 1.8 and doesn't use a deprecated JAVA API.
