Darkwar3 is a thread-safe version of Darkwar for three players. It is a 2D space shooting game. The players use mouse moves and clicks, the cursor keys and return and s, y, x, c and a. They play together. There are six levels with different enemies. There is only one life for all of them together.
The version in the folder Darkwar3 is compatible to JAVA 1.1.8 and JAVA 1.8 and uses a deprecated JAVA API. You find a JAVA 1.1.8 applet version and versions for Swing, which don't use a deprecated JAVA API and are compatible to JAVA 1.8, in the other folders.
